Shel Kahn is an accomplished speaker and teacher, having given talks, workshops and taught classes in a variety of settings.
Shel has spoken on brainstorming and creativity techniques, visual literacy as a core skill, process approaches for comics, intentional dramatic gaming, tabletop gaming as education, and creative career preparation.
Shel has taught classes with the Toronto District School Board, the Royal Ontario Museum, the Aga Khan Museum, and MTM College of Animation, Art and Design. They have run workshops and been a speaker at Brock University, OCADU, The University of Toronto, George Brown College, Breakout Con, Vancouver Comic Arts Festival, Toronto Comic Arts Festival, Hand Eye Society, GenCon, and with Dames Making Games.
